About ecoworks
ecoworks is a leader in serial renovation, pioneering this approach in Germany and continuously refining it since 2019. As a trusted partner to the housing industry, we deliver affordable, energy-efficient renovations for clients ranging from small cooperatives to large housing groups, supporting them from the initial concept through to scalable, serial implementation. By shifting 80% of the work from the construction site to the factory, we enable our customers to economically transform their entire portfolios toward climate neutrality.
Today’s environment is challenging: interest rates are at their peak, construction costs have climbed due to supply chain issues, skilled labor is in short supply, and funding conditions have become unpredictable. The list of obstacles is long.
At ecoworks, we believe it’s time to rethink energy-efficient renovation and introduce new solutions for the housing industry. With a team of over 130 employees, we are constantly advancing our product, increasing automation and standardization to meet the needs of the market and drive the future of sustainable building renovation.

The Masterplan Solarcity is the operational instrument of the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises to support the ambitious goal of becoming climate-neutral as quickly as possible. The extensive use of solar energy is a key component, as it represents a significant share of the city's renewable energy potential. To achieve this goal, solar systems with a capacity of around 4,400 megawatts need to be installed on Berlin’s rooftops. This requires creative local approaches and strong partners who, for example, come together within the Masterplan’s partnership network.
