Construction Begins in Nienburg/Weser: Serial Renovation of Three Apartment Buildings

Together with GBN Wohnungsunternehmen GmbH, we are starting the construction phase of our latest serial renovation project on Hans-Böckler-Straße in Nienburg. With digital planning complete and preparatory work underway, the on-site implementation is now underway.

Energy-Efficient Upgrades While Residents Stay at Home

This serial renovation involves a comprehensive energy upgrade of three apartment buildings from the 1950s. The big advantage for tenants: all work is carried out while the buildings remain fully occupied.

Within just a few weeks, the buildings will be fitted with a new prefabricated, energy-efficient building envelope. The result: significantly lower energy consumption and noticeably improved living comfort. Once complete, the buildings will meet the KfW Efficiency House 55 standard and achieve energy efficiency class A, with an expected reduction in final energy consumption of over 70%.

Quiet Living Right on the B6

Located directly on the busy federal road B6, this project demonstrates another key benefit of our system: noise reduction.

The new envelope not only keeps the cold out but also provides highly effective sound insulation. Combined with windows of soundproofing class 5 already integrated into the facade and a noise-reducing, controlled ventilation system, traffic noise stays outside. For residents, this means a major increase in comfort and a dramatic improvement in indoor quality of life.
